Ochrolechia parella, Seathwaite, Borrowdale, Cumbria (on slate), 7.4.10
White crusted thallus with distinctive fruits, the latter with thick margins and pruinose discs and appearing similar to a grey car tyre. Frequent in Lancashire on gritstone and in the Lake District on slates and volcanics (here on a slate gatepost).
